Sudan

Landing in Sudan, one of the first impressions from an aerial view is how flat, dry and dusty the country is with a thick sliver line being the Nile dissecting through the land.

Hats off to Egypt Air for seeing that my bag and bike were on time, in one piece and actually arrived. Met up with two fellow cyclist and we made our way to the Acropole Hotel, a Greek/Sudanese family run institution in Khartoum.
